On a tight budget and found this at a very reasonable price on-line (under $60). Checked my Consumer Reports book and found this to be one of their "best buys". Works very well. The only "fair" review was for noise....but it's a vacuum cleaner! I really don't expect it to be that quiet. All in all a good buy for your money.
This vacuum is lightweight and easy to carry or move around the house. The suction is so powerful, it has made high-traffic, very matted areas of carpet look new again. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone!
I bought this vaccuum based on the outstanding reviews by Consumer Reports and by customers to this site, but I wish I had not purchased the ugly beast. This is terrible on bare floors. Even with the ush turned off, dirt shoots across the room making it impossible to clean. The attachment hose is too short to be of any use unless you physically lean the vacuum towards the intended target. The tool holders/cord caddy on the back is a tangled mess that doesn't seems thrown together without any particular plan. I gave this 3 stars because it does have very powerful suction so if you have all carpet floors and rarely use the attachment, this is probably a good fit for you.
Bought this vacuum to replace my dying Eureka after doing lots of research. It ranked the second highest on Consumer Reports for uprights and was considerably less expensive than the number one pick. So we thought we'd try it. After using it just once I realized how bad my old vacuum was! I love this one and actually enjoy vacuuming with it (which for me is very strange!). My carpets literally look and new after each use! The best vacuum I have ever used! Buy it!
I'm really impressed with this little vacuum cleaner. I have dragged it up and down 2 flights of stairs and it still works very well. The tools come off the back sometimes when I'm vacuuming and the beater ush height is difficult to adjust, but other than that, I really like this vacuum. For those who gave up bottled water but want better taste than tap, Brita filtered water is a good option. In most places the 3-packs are way overpriced and the 10-packs are hard to find. Costco carries them but otherwise I have only found them online. As each one should be replaced in 2 months, this is nearly 2 years worth of filters. If you have a friend who also uses Brita, get the 10-pack and split the cost. (The box contains 2 boxes of 5 filters each, so there isn't even any fooling around with opening packaging). Gives each person 1 year's worth of filters at a decent per-filter price. p.s. My only beef with Brita (Clorox-owned now)is that the filters are not recyclable. Supposedly the filters the company sells in Europe have been modified to be recyclable. They should do that here too.
we live in Phoenix AZ where the water is hard tastes bad. we use the large 'counter top' water cooler and these Brita filters take all of the minerals bad taste out of the water. if only we could get the restaurants to use these filters, it would be great!
After using the ita pitcher,I found out that I didn't have to live with bad tasting water anymore. The Brita did just what it said. Thanks Amazon for the best buy on the filters!!
Own a Brita? Do these fit yours? Then this is what it comes down to. Economy. Three here are cheaper than one. I mark the box flap with the date I replace each filter, and two months later, I replace the old with the new. Three will get you six months. As you close in on month six, buy a new box. Complicated? Not at all. If this three-pack is cheaper than at the megamart, buy them. Otherwise, get these here. I fully recommend the Brita Pitcher Replacement Filters. After working with a sub-par iron for my whole life, I decided to upgrade and look for a higher end model. The Black Decker Digital Advantage was highly recommended from Amazon users so I purchased one. It's much heavier than I expected, but it does iron extraordinarily well. It heats up quickly (and lowers quickly). Unfortunately, even on the first try, the iron did start leaking a little bit... It does have a useful beep when the iron is ready for different settings and it's easy to fill. The heat is a little intense so it does dry out my hands (I've never had that happen before). Overall, this is the best iron for it's price range and features.
I found this to be a great product overall however, I rated it as a four star for ergonomics. The button I use the most is the steam surge button. As a right-handed person it would be perfect if this button were located on the left side of the handle so that I could easily access it with the thumb of my right hand. Unfortunately the spray mist button is on the left - the steam surge is on the right which is a little cumbersome. I would have liked to see the designers simply reverse the position of these buttons. Other than that I highly recommend this product.
I hate to iron but this iron is light enough and has lots of steam so it make the job faster and easier. It does a good job.
This is a great iron for a great price. It heats quickly, gets great steam. Very user friendly operation.

We finally upgraded from our 10 year old Dustbuster.... Why did we wait so long? This works great and isn't much bigger than the original. Much better power and the battery lasts much longer.
It sucks as advertised. On higher speed setting it sucks even more. Even my wife said the vacuum i bought sucked more than anyone we've owned. The battery assures the device sucks for at least 12 minutes. If you're looking for a vacuum that sucks a whole lot, this is it.
Can't beat the price on this unit. And it does work as advertised - good suction, nice design (don't touch dirt on clean out). I get a kick watching our 4 and 6 year olds clean up up their own under-table mess becasue of the novelty of this gizmo. Some here have said bad battery life. My plan is to replace it every two years for $35 if that's the case. More than enough charge per use for our kitchen needs. It is a loud little sucker. Be forewarned. And I find the wall mount a little difficult to use - maybe because I have it hanging back above washer/dryer - but doesn't latch naturally to me. Just a nit. I think you'll enjoy it. Would recommend it to family/friends.
This is, by far, the best hand-held vac I've ever owned. If you are considering, get one with at least 14.4 volts of power. It really does make a big difference. I've owned the wimpy ones with less power and they don't compare. Definitely worth a few extra dollars.

PUR CRF950Z 2 Stage Replacement Water Filter I have used this water filtration system for over three years now, and though my retailer no longer carries the produce line, I have found that I can get the same product through Amazon and at a most reasonable price. One of my concerns with getting involved with a product line is that it becomes something that I get attached to and then it gets discontinued. Thanks Amazon for your continuing to maintain good product lines.
Have used pur cartridges for several years and continue to depend and rely on them.
I have had a Pur water cooler for about three years now, back when the filters were flat on top with the little gauge that showed you when to change the filter. I love Pur water products but it you have anything besides the pitcher, I would not buy these online. Proctor Gamble changed the design to the one currently pictured (with the very high domed top) and they DO NOT fit the coolers. I am pretty sure they are okay with pitchers though. Over a year later, the redesigned filters are FINALLY making their way to the stores, but given my recent experience buying filters online (through another retailer) there are now three different styles floating (the flat topped filter, the one pictured, and the and new one) around in stores' inventories, and I think they all have the same item numbers. The new design is still domed, but much shorter, plus there are three very distinct holes on the top, which you can clearly see on the packaging. Also, I was told by Pur customer service that the filter must have a lot number, stamped on the bottom, starting in the 8000s. So, if you are trying to purchase these filters for your cooler, go to a store: you cannot rely on pictures and item numbers, at least in my experience. Also, many reviewers seem to be upset because there is no longer a "gauge" to tell you when to change the filter. I never go by this- use common sense and change the filters when the water starts to taste bad.
work ok, old models have indicator to show remaining life. they should cost less due to their lack of complexity
I bought these after much research for replacement stage 2 filters for my pitcher. These replacements work fine. The only issue I have with them is that the original filters I bought with my pitcher had a gauge on them that told me when I needed to change the filter. These replacements do not have a gauge.

My sister in law has one, said it was perfect for our needs, and let me borrow it. She has extra pads, so as they got dirty, you just change them. When done, you wash them in the washing machine, and they are ready to go again (you can use them wet). It cleaned the floors amazingly, did fine on our wood floors, vynil floors, and tile floors. I will be buying one today hopefully (or this week or next depending).
I really like the ease of using this product. It heats up quickly and moves around easily. Even though the floor does not dry immediately, it does a great job. It would be nice if the cord was longer but that would not keep me from recommending this product to others.
This is a great steamer. I tried the shark and lysol steamers before getting this one. This is an overwhelming winner. It has the trigger that the other 2 were lacking. I like to use a lot of steam and this lets me. I also love that it heats up in around 30 seconds and you can refill at any time. Those are some of the great features. Make sure you get enough pads. I have to switch them out a few times while cleaning because I use so much steam, but I have 4 pads so its not a problem.
I would very much recommend this product, no chemicals, limited effort, very easy to use, with an excellent result at a reasonable cost. The steam mop does exactly what it says...cleans only with hot water. It is not made for wood or Pergo flooring and says that in the instructions, "don't use on wood or any flooring that is not sealed". It was made to use on linoleum (which I have), tile, or any of that type of sealed finish flooring, so those who have been unhappy with the result on their wood type floor should have read the instructions. I mop often and having had back problems over the years, which mopping seems to aggravate, I decided that this would be just the thing...and what a pleasure it turned out to be! My floor not only looks great, but feels great on bare feet. No hard labor and no back ache! It is light weight with a swivel head to get into corners and the pads are machine washable, just throw them in the laundry and because of its size very easy to store. I am not alone in my appreciation of this product, as I have friends who have purchased it and also love it.

This vacuum is great! I can't believe I didn't order it sooner! I have two cats who leave hair, litter and food bits all over the place! It's great for those quick clean ups when I don't feel like dragging out the big vacuum cleaner. It works well on the stairs too. It's lightweight very easy to carry and very compact. I highly recommend this vacuum! I love it!
This is a great hand vacuum. It's a little heavy and unwieldy for a hand vac, but the suction is very good as is the construction and design. As others have mentioned, the hose is a little short. So I went looking for an extension hose and found the perfect fit in the Electrolux Automotive Vacuum Kit KIT01N. This kit comes with a 5 foot extension hose, plus one crevice tool, one wide nozzle, and an adapter. But you don't even need the adapter. The hose fits perfectly on the Eureka as is. Now with the hose attached, I can set the vacuum on the floor while cleaning areas of my home that are eye level or even higher. The Electrolux kit really adds to the functionality of this little Eureka. The on-board crevice tool does fit the extension hose too, but you can also use one of the two attachment tools that come with the auto kit. In fact, since the Eureka's on-board hose as well as the Electrolux extension hose use standard size vacuum fittings, you can use any standard size vacuum attachment with them. That's a thoughtful design decision by Eureka that just adds immensely to the versatility of this little vac. Right now the Electrolux kit is being sold at uBid for just $15 with free shipping. I really do like this vacuum. I bought it when we lived in a 3-story townhouse with our 8 cats. It made vacuuming the multitude of stairs so much easier. I like it so much I bought one for my sister. But I really wish it had a ush attachment. When you're sitting on the stairs vacuuming you're so close to the moulding you can't ignore the hair/dust resting upon it. The crevice tool gets some of it, but not all. A ush would make this vac perfect. BTW, don't use it to vacuum sheet rock dust as my husband did BEFORE I knew what he was doing. Hopefully a new filter will help the suction. ;o
